Planning the revitalization in the Kt. Schaffhouse

By the end of 2013, all cantons have to develop the strategic and GIS supported planning to revitalize their rivers. HOLINGER supervises and currently supports, together with the canton of Schaffhausen, two bachelor students of the Institute of Engineering Sciences of the ETH Zurich to apply the implementation guide " Revitalization of watercourses - Strategic planning" of the Federal Office for the Environment (BAFU). By the end of May 2012, we help developing the strategy for revitalization of the Canton Schaffhausen using a sophisticated GIS application, and assist the design of the cantonal GIS concept. These experiences will permit us to support other cantons in their upcoming revitalization planning activities.
