Ground-breaking Ceremony in Mamer, Luxembourg
The ground-breaking ceremony for the expansion and modernisation of the Mamer Wastewater Treatment Plant took place in June. The capacity of the WWTP will be enlarged to 50,000 PE from its current capacity of 23,500 PE. The expansion will also ensure compliance with the stricter effluent values that will apply in the future.
Four SBR reactors will be built and the sludge treatment system completely renovated while maintaining regular operation. The mechanical purification system will remain in place but will be refurbished and refitted. The Mamer Wastewater Treatment Plant will then be integrated into the association's PCS7 control system designed which has already been designed by HOLINGER in such a way that the fourth treatment stage can be implemented at a later date.
