Sewage treatment plant from Collombey-Muraz (VS): Laying the foundation stone
Construction work on the Collombey-Muraz (VS) wastewater treatment plant has begun. HOLINGER is the general planner for this project which involves completely renovating the sewage treatment plant and increasing its capacity to 15,000 population equivalents. The project scope incudes: a new mechanical stage, a new activated sludge plant, the entire sludge treatment, a service building and an 800 meter drain pipe to the Rhone. The primary clarifiers will be removed and the existing secondary clarifier will be converted into a rainwater basin. Thanks to a heat pump, the digestion will be heated with energy from the treated wastewater and biogas will be processed and then fed into the natural gas network.
