Water is our element

We develop intelligent solutions for water cycle challenges. To do this, we use our engineering experience to harness nature’s creative power and the power of science and technology. We set new standards and create added value for people and the environment – today for tomorrow.

Clean drinking water through natural filtration – a collaboration between HOLINGER and IngOG+

Despite ealier attempts to modernise it, the drinking water infrastructure in the village of Yrdyk in eastern Kyrgyzstan is in a sorry state. You can help change that with a donation to Engineers Without Borders.

Our contribution - meaningful, considered and consistent

Learn more about our commitment to a better tomorrow and the day after.

34 percent

Compared to other professions, women are under-represented in engineering. In 2015, they made up about 16% of the industry. In 2022, the proportion of women at HOLINGER was 34%, which is higher than at other engineering companies.

Ecological electricity mix

Our electricity mix is made up of around 80% hydropower, 11% renewable energies and 9% non-renewable energies (incl. nuclear energy).

Heat from waste water

In our project to expand the wastewater treatment plant in Collombey-Muraz (Switzerland), we are contributing to sustainable development. A heat pump extracts heat from the treated wastewater to heat the digestion tower and the buildings.
